Renaissance Festival

i just went on a field trip to a renaissance festival today and i have to say it was kinda fun, of course it was with all of my friends so it was even better, we goofed around and had a really cool time. some of the stuff kinda sucked and was way out of originality and some of the people playing shop keepers sucked ass at acting.... and most shit there was way to exspensive! and very bad in quailty....but other than that, it was great... i was wondering if any of you guys ever been to one? its really fun to agrue with the shop keepers on price and talk about medieval shit just to see if they know what there talking about, and today alot didnt but the ones that did know, knew alot of shit and stumped me i was surprised really... alot of cool people there, except the poeple that were just dragged along, they were dicks. there was a bunch from other schools that must have had to go, b/c they sure didnt like medieval shit and they bitched alot!.... only bad part.

Those are cool, we have one every year at one of the colleges by me. They even have jousting and archey competitions.

I went last year(sr. year of HS) I met some girls from Louisiana there(they were wearing light blue letter jackets, i dunno if you know that school or not)...it was the houston one to boot! i had a great time and everyone of them cussed at me just for cussing at them!!! Course, it was one of those *midevil* cussing at each other things...aslo got to see boobies b/c as u well know, they didnt care back then! If you ever get a chance to go to one go...and from what i have heard and what NiteX has said, the Houston one is teh best.

for those of you who have no clue of what a Renaissance Festival is (poor souls) just picture a big Lord of the Rings party where everyone is dressed like it was back in the day, WAY back in the day... wow i cant believe some of you have no clue. the only thing about the jousting is that it kinda sucked...
