Where did HL2 go!?

The game was never real. People now have realized that and switched their attention to "real" games...

I think Valve has caused quite some turmoil by inproperly hyping the game to a degree that the game was not, and their publisher got quite disturbed and based the shit out of them. Now they are hard at work to catch that very last deadline the games would ever give them.

I agree with Yian on that and also another point they don't want what happened last time to happen to them again, I think they are going to keep the highest priroity locks on this project they prolly have ones that don't exist placed on this game. I think after the new year we will see a bit more screenshots. The gaming community was basically strung along and lied to by Valve saying that the game would be out in September. We don't like that at all, yea gamers are keeping it on their minds but are not expressing that much concern over it because we don't wanna be let down again. Look HL 2 and Doom 3 coverage will heat up in late January, early February and the hype will come to a slow simmer and continue to boil up as Valve and id get closer to their release dates.

I TOOK IT! HAHAHA! No seriously I don't know and I don't even want to know. What I always like in games is that I expect NOTHING and get a really cool game. I hate hypes. Quake3 was a hype. It was THE sequel to THE game but it turned out to be utter shit. I mean MP only? BLEH! Am I ranting again?

am i really the only one who just doesnt Give a freaking seven bones about HL2, i dont know whats so Wonderous about it, seems it will be just a simple "ahh its teh fuckin aliens Shooot em" game, with some graphics, personally i think i atleast will like doom 3 more because it is ment do be scary and so much as i played the alpha i can say they did it :). both of the games are just 120% hyped games that have much better graphics than some games today and have a "name" allready, but like it seems other games are somewhat gaining on that graphics quality and then HL2, and D3 will not be "WOW THESE GRAPHIX R SO L337, OMG" *has a seizure with a side order of white yellowish foaming*.
for what i care they could make "Pacman XI: The 16bit green ghost strikes back" and hype it up.

i rest my case.
