i saw an interview somwhere that said the finished all the levels mid november and they just where tweeking and polishing all the levels and stuff so it shouldnt be q1 2004 i hope.... as for half-life2 i dont know if they will ever release that game hopefully they dont have any more "set backs" well lets keep our fingers crossed

I was all psyched about HL2 but it pretty much faded away from my interests list, I'm actually going to pay money for DOOM3 though, even if it is 60 bucks.

ill prolly buy Doom 3, i have been waiting for it from the time i saw the name somewhere, come on doom 1,2 were classics, prolly one of the first games i played on PC, including Castle Wolfenstein

Yeah i more intrested in doom3 than HL2 just because ID frekin Invented the modern FPS and im curious to see what they are capable of 10 years after the original and plus John Carmack is a master at getting games to run on low end systems... how do you think he got the original doom to work on those old crappy PCs! so it should be quite awesome, if HL2 would have come out on time they might have been able to beat doom3 to the punch but if doom3 comes out first they could be in some trouble, they're new engine might get overlooked if people get to compare it to doom3's engine instead of the other way around.
