Half-Life 2: March 1st 2004
Halo 2: April 18th 2004

Too bad Halo 2 won't be coming to PC. And if they do decide to port it don't count on playing it any sooner than 2008.
And yes, you forgot Söldner - Secret Wars.

Yeah dude you forgot Painkiller ( the game's gonna fuckin oWn )
Besides that i think you nailed everything.........
(btw this is also gonna be an expensive year for pc gamers cos they would have to fucking shove in shit loads of dough in their pc's to play these games )

Ah yes... Soldner and Painkiller. Both look worthy of 'The List'. Perhaps Killzone should go on their too, even though it's PS2 only and not due until late 2004. Fortunately for me, I only recently got my PC ~ a Sony Vaio designed specifically for movies and games ~ so hopefully I won't have to do much upgrading, if any, to play the new ones.
What PC games are you guys playing now? I'm currently on Call Of Duty, TRON 2.0, Max Payne 2 and Mafia. All four of these games are incredible.

April, eh? Grrrrrrrrr........ figures.
Well, in the meantime, there are plenty of decent PC games to keep me busy. To anyone who hasn't played these, I highly recommend the four I mentioned previously:
Call Of Duty ~ www.callofduty.com The definitive WWII shooter. After playing this game, Medal Of Honor games (and even BF1942) will seem over-simplified and anti-climactic. The atmosphere, level design, sound and visuals make for a refreshingly realistic war experience.
TRON 2.0 ~ www.tron20.net Without question the most unique FPS I've ever seen. If you love color, dazzle and sheer originality of in-game worlds, weapons and characters, you'll love TRON 2.0. You'll find yourself unable to bear the wait to see what surprising level design will appear next.
Max Payne 2 ~ www.rockstargames.com/maxpayne2/
The Havok engine allows for ragdoll physics and highly interactive environmental objects. Max is cooler now and has a beautiful counterpart (whom you get to play at times). The graphics are more dazzling than ever and the gameplay is classic Max with a new edge.
Mafia ~ www.mafia-game.com This is Grand Theft Auto in the 1930s... only much, much more movie-like and realistic (if you ask me). Something about that era is more fascinating to me. I like using a Tommy Gun as opposed to an M-16. Tons of classic cars, the map is immense and reminds me a lot of old San Francisco.

Painkiller Syster Req:
"System requirements are currently being pinned down, but I expect it to be somewhere in the 1 GHz range, with a GeForce 3 class video card. It'll probably run on 128 MB RAM, but most gamers will probably already have 256 MB."
good news?

Isn't that because the GF 4MX is nothing more than a hyped up GF2?

Yes, no pixel or vertex shaders. No Eviroment-mapped Bump-mapping either.

No, although I do have Kill Switch and it's pretty cool. I'm talking about Kill Zone, which is a PS2-only FPS ~ currently (and carelessly, I might add) being hyped as the PS2's "Halo-Killer". It won't be out any sooner than late 2004.
