Some of them might sound stupid, but they might help though:

(1) Go find a close friend and talk about it. It makes me felt better when my shit happened... Some female friends work better because they know how a girl might think about you better...

(2) There is this game called The Longest Journey, see if you can download it from somewhere. It helps you forget about everything.

(3) Get yourself some materials and cook some pasta. Cooking is a good way to switch your attention.

(4) Go to EB and pick their cheap games. Looking into the titles can make you dizzy, thus forget about the shit completely.

Could be worse. Let's say that fate interviened and made her say no to you. Let's say that this is because in three weeks, you'll find the perfect girl for you. She's going to make all your troubles go away and make you feel like you're on the top of the world and she'll be your first true love. If the other girl had said yes, you would be miserable, you wouldn't be able to be with the one you ultimitly wanted. Have a little faith my boy, I'm a firm believer in fate, and it's never steered me wrong. Everything, EVERYTHING, happens for a reason, I could be wrong about that, but try living a week like that and see how it helps your outlook on life.

Pardon the intrusion. I'm not certain how old these girls are you're talking about, but girls in their teens are, I think, EXTREMELY driven by peer pressure. They may want a boyfriend, and even like a particular guy, but they're under a lot of pressure from their girlfriends not to rock the boat within their little group. They're "filtering" all the potential boyfriend candidates based on the STATUS that a particular guy will bring them, and who will, or won't be, ACCEPTED by their girlfriends. Sometimes I think that matters more to them than the guy, himself. I'd like to think that, because of circumstances, I never did that, but it's tough to judge myself objectively.

I could go on and on, but I feel like I'm crashing the party. Sorry guys.
