Are you using 98?

If you are, sorry. No can do... I really don't know how to fix this thing... 98 sucks...

... or this thing might be as easy as this: disable all the unnecessary background tasks and REINSTALL the game. Usually when a file is corrupted during the installing/copying, the error won't show up the fils will become empty (all 000000....). So reinstalling the application might help.

And see if you can find out what kind of CD-Rom you're using... for what I know, MatsuShita CD-ROM drives are not totally compatible with Windows 95 or Windows 98. Hope you ain't using this shit...

(Add-On: See if installing the game while in safe mode helps. It disable all background tasks and leaves no chance for anything to interupt the installation. But how to get the CD-Rom to work in Safe Mode is a mystery... it might...)

Now gets a bit deeper... did you click on the shortcut of the game, or the .exe file itself. Sometimes the shortcut won't work well for some reason; if you can start the game from the .exe, then it is the shortcut's problem. Always try to restart your machine before you try your shortcut (kinda annoying but the safest way...).

Not proper win32 application means that the .exe wasn't coded for a 32 bit Windows system [what you're running on, unless you have 64-bit]... windows[winbloze :D] can see that the program is an .exe but it doesn't run on the same coding... i think that's it - I've been up for like 35-40 hours so don't blame me if I'm wrong.

Or there's an error with the file :D

Hey Guys

Thanks for replying.

Hey Yian, Thanks again for your suggestions. I didn't met anyone in any other forum who reply so fast. Thanks for your given time.

I'm using win98 and not using MatsuShita CD-ROM drives.

Hey Shadow, Thanks to you too...

Well, I think that win32 is nothing to do with coding, if it is, then we can change the settings in *.ini file (Setup Information). I'm telling this because sometime a small old DOS game also gives such error which sometimes work on Celeron Processor running on 95, 98, 2000, XP etc.........

Well, i'm trying to find out the reason.
