Mission Statement:

What we have here is a fun "Coach's" league.

That means total parity- all players have basically the same ratings. There are no super freak players with crazy abilities. We like our "fresh" names- we did not want to see real NFL or College player names on these teams because these are NOT the real Pro or NCAA players- we have also made CUSTOM teams and logos.

The rules are strict- but only because we want AI-buster free games.

The owners in this league are able to trust each-other to play a clean and honest game. After all: we are all committing at least 2+ hours a week to playing our games online...

It's a thinking man's football game.. Madden and the other console games are brainless joystick fodder for kids.. FBPro '98 has a coaching mode and play-design system more reallistic than anything else out there - even 5+ years after being discontinued. But hell if you aren't a football fan then it's not for you...

Besides, everyone knows that Tecmo Super Bowl was the best football game ever made...as long as you were the Raiders and had Bo Jackson run the ball up the middle every play.

Nope unfortunately they are not selling the rights to the discontinued FBPro series... I'm just trying to recruit people who maybe had played it in the past or are looking for a good PC FB game to join up in our online league. You can even download it for free. I loved Techmo Super Bowl on my NES as well- but I would take the crappy teams to the Lombardi Trophy just for fun... The '91 Seahawks, Chargers, Patriots, Falcons, etc. all got their Championships hehehe

Oh yes I agree... I'd rather lace them up and throw the ball around with my friends on the sandlot any time but if I must sit in front of my PC for a game: FBPro '98 is the one I am hooked on :)
