wish i ciould do something like that  It is amazing isn’t it. That’s why Arny is one of my favourite artists. Actually this work was originally made as a cover art for one Russian pc magazine. I posted this one some time ago in the Fine art thread here (http://www.atrip.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=71503#post71503) too.

Well, since we are posting wallpapers now I think I should also contribute to it. Here is a beautiful artwork by another favourite artist of mine, Craig Mullins. Be advised the image size is 2500x1536:

Apart from the tall building...the ground around it looks a bit empty..they should have put more regulaer skyscrapers in it or other buildings. But other then that....good job!

I like the sparsely populated, ancient civilization type feel to the picture. I like when I ask myself "Who built these things and then the game goes into telling you about them." Though this is done a lot in games, KOTOR, Halo, and Starcraft just a few examples of many out there but that's what I love in a game. One that makes you feel like there is more to the universe your playing than what is shown on the screen.

Those building are sweet.. not a far off idea from our present technology, every couple of years as it is now one country or the other has a go at tallest building in the world.

now the USA will with the 1776 tower at the WTC grounds. That my friends will be a sight to see, hopefully no one will destroy it. You know I'm glad that the people of America are building the tallest building in the World on the grounds of the WTC. Its us telling the terrorists we're not afraid of you and are not cowering to you, its a slap in the face to the terrorists.

Thinking about the picture again, his face looks a bit too emotionless... also, I've actually seen work by this guy on deviant before!
