I was thinking of getting one until I heard of EMI shielding, or lack of. I believe EMI is Electromagnetic Intereference [guessing], and just want to know what would be the problem with a lack of EMI shielding...

Whell, you won't have much problems with the computer itself. Its just that rigs like that emit quite a bit of radio waves - mostly in the spectrum that TV's use. TV's close to your poota will have some fuzzyness in their pictures.

I think these things look gay. once dust piles up the things would look nasty anyways. The only good thing about the plexi glass is windows on ur case, and windows for ur HDD, it is so awesome to see ur HDD function !

You could always get cancer.... but hell you could get cancer from anything...
