my list:

marilyn manson's antichrist superstar
nine inch nail's downward spiral
RATM's first title-less album
Rammstein's mutter
SOAD's toxicity
dust bro's fight club soundtrack

if i have to chose one in that list i have to take The Downward Spiral.

http://www.portalmix.com/discos90/img/downward_espiral.jpg

its truly incredible. the entire cd flows perfectly; you can almost tell a story through it. from the gripping rifts in Mr. self destruct and heresy to the warped, fucked up sound of eraser, this cd truly feels like a downward spiral to depression. Hurt not only finishes off the album, but also finishes you off. NIN's greatest effort, better than the more recent The Fragile.

That's been getting a lot of play in my player too. Further Down the Spiral is amazing too, in a wierd sorta way. Great for backround music when playin games.

Fragile was a mixed bag, while some songs where kickass, some just sounded too...popish. some songs also tried to sound too much like older songs in downward spiral or broken but failed

some good pick in there Nobah, especially At the Gates.

I've had Skinlab and EyeHateGod goin for a few days now. Felt like listening to something more metalcore than hardcore.

what a coincidence! I just read the Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel review at gamespot and they mention that Skinlab is on the games soundtrack. good stuff.

Is that Skinlab you're talking about the same Skinlab that name is written like this: [SKINLAB]

Because if it is then I have their reVoltingRoom album. Pretty good I say.

Now Playing: Opeth - Morningrise: The Night And The Silent Water
(I love this album! It's just brilliant.)

I think my favorite cd has to be...

TDK 80min 700MB CD-R

Anyone hear of them? They're non-RIAA so you might not have unless you do a lot of internet stuff. They're pretty much completely on the computer.

QOTSA- Songs for The Deaf

I have that Queen of the Damned movie....i think the music was good in that but I cant remember. Shit, I cant even remember the movie. Like most movies I saw last spring, I was trippin my face off on Percocets and would talk to myself through the whole thing. Need to watch it....again....or would it be the 1st time...

jah, QOTD soundtrack was very good. i like the extra songs done by jay gorden, the disturbed dude, the LP fag and wayne static.

resident evil soundtrack was also top notch, prolly cuz i enjoy listening to manson's work alot.

other good movie soundtracks ive heard include Fight Club made by the dust brothers; excellent stuff there, and Underworld, by danny lohner of NIN.

I'm also going to go with Toxicity. Tracks like ChopSuey! are just absolute fucking magic.

Rhenna, I think you may have some issues. No offence to Marilyn or Trent, but favorites? Sure, Closer is a classic, but still!

Seriously, favorite manson song: The reflecting God. Poetry in motion.

Hell yeah PHAT_ASS.

FYI, they've been in the studio for quite some time now recording their next album. Minus Keenan of course. But they're doing just like they did with Lateralus, sending Keenan tapes to write lyrics to while he's touring with A Perfect Circle. Straight from Toolband.com.

But as long as it takes these guys to arrange music, we could be waiting for another couple of years...
