It is truly one of the best games. I bought it off a friend since I sold my original copy with my PlayStation, but I love the game. They changed the story a bit, nothing major, they just added more to the script because the GameCube can handle more.

I got a gamecube and I'm kinda willing to try it out. I loved the first MGS, but from the trailers, it looks like they are MGS2fying it :(. The Matrix moves that the ninja displays are cool, but Snake jumping over a missile and firing a stinger is just way too over the top.

Snake jumps over a tank shell in the original, and also shoots stingers in the original.

I've only played Xbox once and the game I played was Cel Damage. I have a PS2 and I've bought a lot of games and I have no problems with the system. There's a definite lack of modern technology inside of it, but right now it has the biggest game library that continues to grow as we speak. If you want a better online plan, get Xbox for Xbox Live!. However, keep in mind that for PS2 you still have Syphon Filter: Omega Strain coming out, Socom 2 which is out, Rainbow 6 Jungle Storm coming out, and more. Just depends on what you want.

The main reason I want to get a console for now is cos I dont have the dough to upgrade my comp so I'm stuck with my fuckin MX and no games to play and I won't be able to play upcoming titles for sure.

You buy a Sony Network Adaptor that slides into the back of the PS2 (after you take the little door off). Then you plug your ethernet cord into the back and you're set.

1. You can play certain games with 2 PS2s, 2 TVs and 2 copies of the same game. Like Timesplitters 2 for example. You can have 4 TVs hooked up and have a 16 player match. Some sports games do this too.

2. Haven't played the Cube but a coworker of mine who owns all 3 systems explained to me that he was rather disappointed wit h the lack of many great games. That was almost a year ago though. Ask Smap; I think he has a Cube.
