Need For Speed Underground, worst game ever made

This game is the worst piece of shit to ever fall out of the ass of a donkey. The god damn ai in this game is ridiculous. The ai cheats so much that I laugh, and that is because I'm beyond rage and frustration and the game has driven me insane to the point of just laughing. The ai never slows down for turns. The ai doesn't follow the rules of gravity, they go into turns at full speed. It's also funny to see the cars zig zag and jump from one point to another in attempts to beat me. It's funny to see a car smash into oncoming traffic and while my car would flip and spin and go crazy if I did that, their car tries to sneakily keep going as if nothing happened cuz' of the computer ai. It's funny how the game tries to do all these things without me noticing cuz' it's behind me, but than i catch it when press the look back button. It's also funny to see when the cars are way ahead of you, and you know the race is over, they try to slow down to let you catch up. And then when you're close enough, again start up their crazy cheating to win. I don't even wanna get started on how ridiculous the traffic is.

Although most of you know and have experienced what I have said above, I just wanted to vent my anger here. I just played some of the game and I'm stuck on a 6 lap circuit race where I've had to restart at least 20 times and still have not passed and so I have given up and said fuck this game fuck it to hell and if this game were a person, I would fuck this person up bad, and then start surgery on him with my finger nails. I hate EA so much right now that I'm gonna make sure I download all their games and than make copies for everyone so no one has to buy such trash so that EA can lose as much money as possible and hopefully some day their building will burn down and their developers will burn with the building so we can wipe all traces of EA from this earth. Cuz' every game they make has some shit quality to it. EA truly does not know how to make a racing game. They said they strived for realism in this game but this game is completely unrealistic. It's utterly impossible to play this game, I don't care how good you are. Winning is a matter of luck. EA has created their own rules for this game and you're stuck with trying to play with EA's rules. EA makes a game with impossible AI and tries to make everyone think that EA has made a very smart and challenging game. That just shows that EA doesn't know how to make a game and they have to try to lie about it.

Long story short, stay the fuck away from this disgrace to all games.

I'm Sure we've had a thread bout this. Everything from NFS Porche 2000 (whatever) was crap. NFSU was moderatley entertaining, but I agree the Ai was a spoiler.

Someone should do the world a favor and make an up to date version of street rod.

yes I have played and completed the game and it was a damn blast.. I agreed when you said midnight club 2 sucks because that game had some serious cheats..

as for NFSU.. i played through it on hard and medium and it was pretty much same shit.. and opponents ram cars too.. quite often actually in drag mode.. it makes the game tougher later on coz its supposed to be that way after the 100th race you have completed on it..

secondly, as for opponents not flying sky high.. well they do seriously.. and on L-shaped turns they do hit the breaks most of the time and when they dont they are usually already in a slow speed mode.. also they do hit the wall most of the time too.. as for going too fast.. well they only go as fast as their car can handle.. when you are at 5 repo.. most cars max out the same in NFSU..

as for golf having 3 times the acceleration.. who gives a shit.. you play w/ gold.. ultimately you can fuck golf w/ skyline within 10 seconds of the beginning of the race.. and once you install kits most cars act the same.. so its all about whether you prefer full acceleration or full top speed w/ all the bells there..

I still play w/ Mazda Miata and fuck any car that comes by my sight.. that may not be realistic.. but it sure is helluva fun and challenging.. havent had an arcade racer in ages and NFSU fulfills my desire for it..

3dvisioner, bitching about a game doesn't really help you to win it. Most of us play the game for fun, and most games take a while to win. If you expect giving it a few tries and win but the game doesn't let you do so, it's a challenging game. And if not winning makes a game not fun for you, you might just have to find another game to play. The game is being tough doesn't mean it is bad.

I remember you once said GTA:VC is "a piece of shit" too...

Yes I did say GTA:VC was a piece of shit and it was for a similar reason and that is bad AI. Underground has good graphics, but gameplay is most important and I think underground does very poor on it, when many other racing games do much better. I'm talking about realism, and challenge that makes sense. Underground boasts realism in gameplay, but how can it be real when you see the ai cheating so damn badly in front of your eyes? I could understand losing to ai that was just good at handling and fast, but not to ai that cheats. When you're doing so well at the game, handling well, crashing rarely, and about to win a race, and then they throw in some cheats like traffic that pops right in front of your face to make you crash before the finish, or computer racers all of a sudden beating you when they were half a mile behind you, you get pissed off. Many people have said this, on the actiontrip forums too so it's not just me. Same with the forums on the need for speed official website. I just wanted to say it again to share my experiences, and to vent my anger, and also to show my disappointment with EA that they had to make a game like this.

I also hate this game for many reasons, ai mainly (ai recovery is insane). But I actually believed that EA was going to give more freedom; buying parts and racing. What the was I thinking? Hell, I should be thinking that EA will make 32,976 expansions for NFSU. One crappier after another. Like NFSU: 1920s or something...*shivers*.

Vice city was a crazy ass game.. only some missions were fucked up, like the one where u gotta distribute the flyers. Other than that the game was awesome.
