Has anyone else been playing the Bloodrayne demo? I've worn it out! It's incredibly... well, BLOODY. And, incredibly violent. And I'm loving it!!! I could write a 9,000 word review of the demo, (Nearly all positive), but that would lead to being banned from the AT forums, and probably would earn me a trip in Phoosh's van. Any game that let's you cap Nazis get's high marks with me.

all the game sites are so freaking ugly now, most dont have resume option and usualy take the files out or place them in other servers :(

Can't find it? My coworker downloaded right from ActionTrip! And, I've seen the graphics on... ...hell, I think it was a PS/2. They're decent, but can't compare to the PC version, IMHO. I wasn't really looking forward to any particular game to go gold, but I'm all over this. Well worth the time to D/L.

Yeah. I have known this game for a while and it was supposed to be out last month. I will get this game, that's for sure.

BTW, "BloodRage" is so damn cool! Two big ass blades spins like fans and watch those limbs fly!

How do you like those spike heels, Yian? And did you find any "secrets" in that map? I struck out there if there are any.

By the way, if anyone is considering downloading BR, Voodoo cards of ANY flavor are reportedly not supported. And, I can tell you from trying the demo on several of our PC's here, that only OpenGL is supported on 32Mb cards. You'll need 64Mb or more to go Direct3D. Just so everyone knows before a big download.

Is the full version out yet? Can't wait to get my hands on this one! The beauty of that demo is that you can kill the three generals in any orders you desire, and it will not break the plot or anything (because there isn't one.)

I read the review on the XBox, and it appears that the first few levels put her in a Swamp with animals to kill, not soldiers (no blood sucking.) Hope that would be fun, too...

I think I have seen BloodRayne in other games before. There was this adventure game called "Nocturne", talking about a detective from "Brimstone Society" (exactly the same one in BloodRayne.) And in one of the chapter there is this female assistant with two blades on her arms, and she is a dhampir, too. She looked older than the girl we have in BloodRayne, probably because some time has passed since the story of BloodRayne took place.

Nah, BloodRage is not a game. BloodRage is a state BloodRayne can enter when she kills enought people, sort of like the bullet-time in Max Payne, but it allows BloodRayne do more combos (such as spinning-fan blades, in-your-face kicks...). BloodRayne has a regular slo-mo mode that can be activated at anytime, and it never runs out, but it only slow things down and don't do anything else. BloodRage mode needs enough kill to activate, it runs out, but it turned all the background to bloody colors, and allows her to do tricks.

I didn't type DICKS so it must be you... But I hope they will patch a cheat into the game to make her suck their DICKS instead of their neck... How about this, suck blood from the neck to gain life, but suck... well... you know... from DICKS, to gaain bonus strength, such as temporary combos... or even better.... she can use her sharp-pointed teeth to... well....

...bite the DICKS off! Hahahahahaha! By doing so she gains the ultimate battle skill: BloodyMouth!

The First few lvls are in a swamp where you fight mutants. Its hard cause she gets hurt in the water. I borrowed the X-box version from my friend. Got to the final boss on the 1st lvl and kept crashing.

Let me start by saying I don't own any console systems; nothing against them, however. I'm intrigued that the X-Box crashes; I must admit that even though I'm aware that it's more "PC-like" than the other consoles, I never thought much about it crashing or locking-up. Is this pretty common? Anybody?

I was actually wondering the same thing, too... Does XBox crash? If it does.... uhhh it is actually kind of unthinkable. I really don't think so, though, because it should be a big ass news if XBox ever crashed on anything... "That platform crashes!"... you know...

Xbox does indeed crash, overheat and all sorts of wonderful things. And if you unplug it for too long, the memory get wiped clean.
