hey all, I'm back in jersey for a bit after my move.

I will sum this up quickly. After 2 full days of driving I arrived at my new apartment in Tampa, Florida. As I initally pull into the place I just wanted to turn around and drive back home. I moved into the fucking GHETTO. It fucking sucks and I want to burn the place down with all its inhabitants locked inside as I jack off to their agonizing screams. In short, I terminated the lease (which cost me almost another $2000), looked up a broker to show me new apartments, picked out a PIMP fucking pad in the downtown metro area overlooking the bay, and flew back to Jersey a smarter man. The lesson learned is "dont pick out an apartment on rent.com without checking it out first". I cant wait to get back down there now. If anyone ever thinks of moving to Tampa, dont go near Busch Gardens for an apt.....or anywhere near Sligh Rd.

Damn Trust you moved into a place on Sligh Road, shit that place is the fucking Ghetto. I guess the area really close around USF is nicer. I thought that's what you meant when you told me you were moving close to the USF campus. Well I hope this place works out for you better, glad to hear you got a better place. oh man, i Sligh Rd. is a scarey place. I didnt move into there but I did drive down it looking for the Hard Rock Cafe.....turned right around. Actually, my place was on the corner of Temple Terrace (aka Busch Blvd....same damn road) and Davis Rd. which was about a mile past 56th. I did see USF, pimp, the place looks nice....would rather live there and party my ass off instead!

I'll be hittin ya up soon pimp man....thx for the offer, but I really dont have much to move. All my furniture I bought is still at the store and will be delivered when I get back down there. Not much of a point in having it delivered to the ghetto place if im just goin to pack up and move again in 4 weeks.

I was thinking about going to Tylor School of Art for a while, and it is the art branch for Temple University. It is near the main campus and the two Broad Street section, both North and South, is a giant ghetto. I knew that my illustration teacher went there, so I asked him what it was like to go to colleg near a place like that...

His words: "Oh, no, when I went to that place, it was at the outskirt of Phili, near that monastery. It was really quiet, really beautiful. Then they decided to move to somewhere near the main campus. I have graduated from there way before that happened."

Ok, so I don't know what it is like to live in a ghotto.

Holy shit dude, welcome back. Glad you didn't get raped by a gang of hoodlums. My sister had roughly that same experience when she moved to Florida, getting an apartment she regretted on sight. Only difference, she was surrounded by old people. "It was peacful" she said to the lanlord as she left after the first week.
