WTF man, Lucasarts is on thin ice with me. Republic commando is their last chance. I loved Sam and Max, didn't get very far but it was hilarious from what I played.

Did you try KOTOR?

Yea I loved it, well KOTOR really wasn't a strict Lucasarts game like Sam and Max 2 or Full Throttle 2. KOTOR was co-developed by Lucasarts with the majority of the game being Bioware's creation. Lucasarts merely provided the universe more or less. I mean in house Lucasarts developed games, no co-developing.

This is really sad news. I hope LucasArts is going to realise that this is their BIGGEST mistake ever. There were so many people looking forward to this game - even the press was drooling over it. What a loss!
See http://www.mixnmojo.com/ for more than 100 angry comments.

I believed that they had a good reason to cancel it. I rather not to play the game at all than having to get hyped up then buy a rushed-to-the-shelves-mid-budget game. They must realized that they do not have the resources to make a great game out of its original plan.

I don't know. I think it might of turned out decent. The trailer they released a while back had the same type of humor found in the first game and it just seemed like the people working on it knew what they were doing.

We're not talking about Sam and Max 2 turning into a 'rushed-to-the-shelves-game' here. This is LucasArts sticking their middle finger up at the dedicated fanbase that has supported them for so long (just out of "economic considerations"). This is LucasArts abandoning what used to make them great.

Well its kind of a shame that a game that was going great according to the people that were developing it. Gets cancelled because the company they work for sees it more fit to put out even more bloody star wars games quite a shame.
Even though it wont help all i and everyone can do is just contact them about your frustations or even sign this petition. but it probably wont help another good memory shot to bits :(

Those petitions never do shit. The company doesn't care about us, they care about money. They are going to sell whatever appeals to the masses, not people who enjoy good, original games.

Fucking sucks balls. They are putting the leftover resources towards Force Commander 2......who wouldnt want to play a sequal to that finely polished game.

Oh yea it was a real polished game, after the 20 some odd delays it recieved.
No seriously, maybe lucasarts could do a good job with a force commander sequel. Seeing as how a lot of RTS games are now in 3D. Lucasarts just didn't know how the hell to go about the 3d cause it was one of the first 3d RTS games.
