Has anybody played this game? I got to the last mission and defeated the sheriff. After I killed the sheriff nothing happened. The mouse coursor even dissappeared. Is this supposed to happen?

Have you looked around for patches? That usually solves most of my problems, especially with conditions. Like Morrowind. That game had a lot of bugs...

Here's a link you can go to to get the patches. Don't worry, they're totally free, and hopefully they'll help make the ending a tad more enjoyable.

So I just download it and that's it? I don't have to do anything else? It'll automatically work when I start the game?

You should be able to download it and run it, then it will patch the game, either automatically or with you pointing it to where the game is installed. Just make sure to download it to somewhere you'll be able to find it.

Do you thinkyou can find a patch that will work with XP? Everything that I looked at sais that it would work with 98/ME only.

Looks to me like they fix a problem that occurs with 98/ME, but they also fix other problems. I don't think they're OS specific.

I downloaded a patch but when I tried to install it, it said it was made only for 98/ME.

I did some search but couldn't find anything... Are you sure it wasn't loading something? What else came with the CD?
There should be an outro movie at the end, and it sounds like the game didn't play the movie. Did the game played the intro movie well?

It played the intro fine. It just came with 5 other games. One of those 6 packs from Wal-Mart, you know fantasy 6 pack, adventure 6 pack,etc... (My kids gave it to me for Christmas.)

pixelater suggested that I try to switch the compatibility mode of the game and play it that way.
