When starting a campaign and choosing your char, the anouncer only speaks when i choose "Mr. Crow!", and not anyone else's. Does everyone's game behave like this, or is it just me??

Yup, the same thing. Strange I never noticed this little bug before, may be because I never choose Mr. Crow. But personally I would much prefer this announcer to shut off completely. He did a pretty good job on annoying me in UT2K3 and I think UT2K4 would do just great without him.

I think its a joke the devs put into the game. They don't announce any other character save for "MR. Crow!" Just the way the announcer said the name is extremely odd and funny at the same time. I personally like the little joke just as with the other things people have found in the game like with the golden phallus.
