Ghost in the shell: Innocence impressions.

Oshii Mamoru have always had a tendencies of lighting my monotone Sundays with his amazing work. Ghost in the shell: Innocence was no exception either. A fuse of incredible 60’s retro style bounded solid with gigantic sci-fi world. No, it is not even a masterpiece, it have long passed that mark, it is a monolith, a monolith that shall define the amazing culture of anime for years to come.
I will not give away much in terms of a story. Since I myself have a lot of things to rethink and explain. But one thing this story is not, that is disappointing. Oshii Mamoru not only managed to meet the high mark set by the first (original) Ghost in the shell, but successfully surpassed it in every way. Characters have matured quite a bit. Batou seems much older now and since the story somewhat focuses on him and his experience I think that change was much needed. Oh and did I mentioned he have a dog now? I will not even touch on the beautiful immersion of CGI and anime art, it simply can not be described with words.

Wow, those are great. I've never seen any of the Ghosts, but I want to.

cant wait to see this. I have loved everything that is ghost in the shell related. I think it is what actualy got me into anime in the first place. I got the game for the ps1 and loved the anime they cut into the game and have been hooked ever since.

the first ghost in the shell was pretty good, but i wasnt THAT impressed by it, either way this one looks cool and ill have to check it out

Just re-watched it. Honestly Oshii Mamoru should be making computer games. With his "fountain" of ideas and originality he would be a great success.

usualy when asians make games its like watching a movie with minimal interaction. Like the Final Fantasy series, there is no learning curve or real challange. I've never met anyone who said "man that was a very challanging game" usualy its just, "it was a great story"
