I downloaded some trainers for The Italian Job from trainerscity.com recently but I cannot get them to work.
Am I missing something here?
I have put the trainer and all the files included into the directory of my game. Then I activate the trainer and use the trainer to run the game. then when i press the hotkeys F11 and F12 nothing happens.

What you are missing is the detailed information of what you have done to your files, which is essential for us to help you...

Can anyone help me solve my problem?

I'm not sure why they don't work, but here are some general tips:
Make sure the trainer you got is for the version you have. Check what version is your game and grab the trainer for that version.
You might have to patch the game if your trauber is for a newer version.
Make sure your F11 and F12 key is not binded to something else...

Well i have tried both the trainers for the game. None of them work.
I don't think there is a patch for the italian job.
and the F11 and F12 keys are not binded to something else.

WOW, this one's old. But the whole hanging thing is a memory error. Your trainer is trying to alter memory locations and your game doesn't like that, result: crash. That's usually when you have a wrong version of a game. I wouldn't know what else it could be.

I thought it could be memory, but my pc is capable of playing the game.
Win xp Pro
P 4 306mhz

Thanks anyway :)

No I meant memory as in places INSIDE the memory. Whenever you put something into your memory it get's placed into small blocks. When two programs try to write into the same block you get a crash.
