Heh, apparently CryTek was raided again. They apparently found stolen software. Now, get this: Since the software that the game was created with was apparently stolen software, CryTek does NOT own the rights to the game, so technically, it is legal to download a leaked version of Far Cry. Enjoy.

Far Cry was not published by CryTek but by Ubisoft so I don't see how it would be legal to download it. It's not fair to the publisher.

Well, when they try to put cuffs on your ass. Just ask them to let you talk to the creater of the product. When they can't find them, sue the cops asses. :D

Doesn't matter. Cry Tek signed for Ubi to be their partner. But they signed an illegal product. Ubisoft doesn't own it. CryTek doesn't own it.

Ubisoft is probably not responsible legally, I don't know how that works, but I'm sure it's not a free lunch for all pirates. I bought the game because it is quallity I don't care anyway. It just sucks they probably won't be able to put that money into a new better game now.

Ubisoft isn't responsible. But CryTek is. :) It's beautiful, they signed something they didn't own. And (as far as we know) Ubisoft didn't know either. :)

Are you sure it's legal guys? That news thing didnt say anything about it being ok to pirate it did it? I just hate that the money I spent buying the game is going to get thrown away fighting legal stuff.

Just because pirated or stolen software was used to create the game does not make the game itself illegal, it just means that CryTek will have to pay for using pirated software. Where have you heard that it is now ok to download it? (I know some of you were already doing it... though)

I was downloading it when it wasnt not even ok to download it ;) but yea If they PAY for the Software later its means the same but they will be paying a larger amount of money thats for sure
