It's not just because it's a war game it's the loading menu, guns, missions, graphics (in a way) and ways people in the game die that is similar.
P.S. I don't think cod will work on my pc cause the demo didn't work.

MOHAA is a pure first person shooter, and most time you are by yourself, shooting shit loads of Nazis with ammos and health littered on the floor throughout the entire game. Most time you move from one spot, shoot, throw grenades, keep running, and when you reach somewhere or blow something up, you complete a mission objective.
Hidden & Dangerous, both the first one and this one, assign you a squad, and the control involves a lot more than just run forward, gun people down, and win. You have to coordinate the attacks and the actions of your squad members ALL THE TIME. The interface is a pain to get used to, the controls are hard and many; just open the control configuration menu and there are pages after pages of keys you have to assign. You can switch from 1st person view to 3rd person view, and control your squad mates completely. Instead of run in and gun people, this game require you coordinate the attakcs and team move routes very carefully for the enemy AIs are unforgivingly accurate and yolur team members get stuck at doors all the time.
If you say the settings are just like in MOHAA, that's right: they are all set in WWII. But you said "I think it's the same as Medal of Honor: Allied Assault." That's just not right.... :o
