hey ppl! the Forum looks great! awesome work from 2Lions, Dex, Six Shooter n all the guys at Atrip. May more gamers find a place to lay off some steam in this place! Oh yeah, i wanted to share n idea for a game that has been buggin me for a while. dudes, how bout a game bout being a gaming journalist? I mean the scope of this game is immense. U start off as a lowly news poster for a rundown gaming mag, n work your way up!
Challenges will include how to properly cretisize a John Romero game, to find out hidden(!) how to convince game designers to give u that first hand interveiw, n the lengths that u would have to go to get the latest screen shots of a hotshot game.
the gameplay would have multiple choice options like to be dead honest about a game n call it straight down the line, or to suck up to a company n hope they return the favour?
this game could have minigames aswell, n maybe online play where ppl can share their version of the story.
I admit the details are scetchy, but hay at the rate games are coming out, ppl are gonna look for good ideas like Mulder looks for aliens.
When u ultimately (after much struggling, sleeping around, n givin hand jobs) u get the coveted job of being the Editor for the world's greatest gaming site/Mag, u get to take a vacation, n get to choose ur companion from a list which should include the following names like Jenna, Veronica n Gia.
Damn i cant wait for them ppl to make this game! what do ya guys think? all ideas n suggestions are welcomed.
oh btw, i think ppl like 2lions, smapday n some one like Jeff Green could make guest appearances in the game!
