Freelancer ending (spoiler free)

i just wanna say how dissappointed the end of it was.

not the ending itself really, but the stuff afterwards. to be honest, i expected a morrowind kinda open-endedness. "find a job". suuuuuure......

i would have enjoyed some side-missions. and as for the game itself, i would enjoyed a faster engine, damn it.

that's all.......should have been put in the rant box, really.

uh.......SHIP ENGINE, that is. whoops, shoulda said THRUSTER. my Ti4200 tears through this bitch at 4xS AA and 4xAF. no complaints about performance. but i'm stuck are 300 cruise and 80 normal. :(

and for the end, what the hell am i suppose to do??? run around doin 4 or 5 types of missions? doin some pointless bit of trading? if i'm wrong, i sure hope to god some exploring will remedy this.

there's TONS of systems that you don't know about yet. you have to explore using your Path maps... it shows you where lots of ships go, and intersections usually indicate jump gates.

also, yes, 80 is normal, but with my Heavy Thruster, i can go in afterburn mode (199 with weapon usage) for a shitlong time... my ship has 12000 armor, my sheild has over 8000 armor, two missles will take out any ship in the right spot, i can take down any sheild in two or three hits.
