Marine captured by insurgents in Iraq...........and wow you wouldn't believe it, they threaten to behead him.

Dude, from what I can figure, the fighting has to be a lot worse than we think it is. They're not releasing all of the casualites, wounded and otherwise.

Lets see, these guys have managed to piss off the US, South Korea, Turkey, and now Pakistan. Gee they are really making friends now aren't they? If they execute that Marine, I hope the USMC is allowed to do what they do best.

That's one thing I don't get. Surely the only way to get their occupiers, out as fast as they could is for them to STFU and let them get on with the job. This is just giving them more reason to stay longer. Fucken crazy fuckers.

Actually, if they execute this Marine, the terrorists can be brought up on war crimes charges in the IWC. That probably won't mean shit to them though, seeing as how they are giving the world the finger. Good luck to the Iraqi Government, they are going to have a hard time dealing with these animals.

Not to mention the fact that the U.S will be handing over power to the Iraqies in less than 3 days.
I don't see what these insergents hope to gain from this, the U.S will never leave Iraq, they should ask for something like money. Something the U.S might actually agree to fulfill. Otherwise it's just pointless killing that pisses everyone off.

If we did then what would stop any group from kidnapping an American citizen and getting what they wanted? I think it's a decent trade off, gives people far less incentive to capture Americans.

I love how the media makes a joke out of the whole "There are no weapons of mass destruction" thing at the start of this war......it's funny how the tables turn and when we feed ourselves the same ridiculous info. (IE: "the war effort is going well") This may sound a little Carlinesque, but should "progress" come with effort?
