Check out this brand new mod for BF: 1942. Looks f'n sick but I'm a little apprehensive on their decision to make ammo very limited, making melee a big part in the game. Still, I picked up BF: 1942 yesterday (a little late, but I love Vietnam and wanted more more more) because of all the mods. Pirates, Halo, Star Wars, Desert Combat......I dont need to buy another game all summer! Or at least till STALKER or Half Life 2 comes out. Fuck that Doom 3 bullshit.

Anyone else here still playin Battlefield?

That's my biggest fucking gripe about MODs....it seems like no one wants to play em!

Yeah, I'd be all over this if more people played it, it had a hardcore Mad Max feel to it, with the lack of ammo and all. I really liked it but playing with bots is about as fun as sitting here with my thumb up my ass.

Speaking of Fallout though, I just started playing the first one which I never liked much before. Found the water chip and everything pretty fast. This has got to be the best fucking game ever.

Yea man, I started a new game in Fallout last week too. I've only been chippin away at it here and there, but I love it.

I think I'm going on a mod downloading frenzy tonight, there is way to many decent "looking" mods out there for 1942. I have a feeling that Eve of Destruction will be better than BF: 'Nam because after I patched '42, the game run beautifully compared to the sometimes laggy and cluncky BF:Nam.

I'm lookin for the Halo mod right now. I dont see it on PlanetBattlefield and I'm thinking that it's probably not worth a shit if they didnt post it up there. I just remember reading about it in PC Gamer sometime last year.

I've been addicted to the DC mod.....mainly because it's the only one that:
A. has populated servers
B. doesnt crash to desktop when after I try and join a server. Anyone know why this is? It happens on Galactic Conquest, EoD, and 1918......single player works fine though.
