Yeah, those aliens would have been fucked if it had rained.

Also, considering the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere on any given day, it should have been like breathing poison gas to them.

As for the crop signs, would space aliens who could travel lightyears across the galaxy or universe really need to imprint signs in the vegetation to help them navigate around a planet? Doubtful.

Aside from that, I found it interesting. The movie wasn't so much about invading aliens as it was about the mysteries of humanity. Did his wife really see the future as she was dying? Or was "swing away" pure coincidence? Did the younger boy with asthma have asthma for the specific reason of surviving the alien poison gas, or was that just a random lucky event? Do things truly happen for a reason, or do we just get lucky sometimes and falsely credit fate or God for that luck? The movie could be interpretted either way.

The movie dealt with some interesting philosophical questions that unfortunately were obscured by all the gaping logic holes.

Yep, also some of the scenes were pretty creapy, but the ending really pissed me off, looked like they rushed it out or something...

Honestly, I liked Signs, but you're all correct, it made no sense. The movie was more about the purpose of everything than good horror, it was supposed to be classically scary, and I felt it did a good job at that.

Actualy they knew how to use the door handle kinda, because there was this scene(the basement) with Mel holding the handle because Aliens(bunch of einsteins) found it out and tried to get in!

A few mins before when they heard something like more then one alien runing around everywhere outside and on the roof, but then in the end there was only one, that means he was runing around the house and roof looking for a way in like an idiot! lmfao I can picture that pathetic being bumping into every door and window like a fuckin fly who tries to get out/in ....hahahahahahaa

So the whole problem is that the movie is actualy trying to be smart in some ways while being completely retarded in the others, that's why the whole disapointent comes in, if it was just another crap B type of movie o1 would fuckin care...

Oh and I just watched "The others" man that movie rox, the ending pwned everything!!!
