when trying to play Battlefield on the internet servers the connection to ip address bar goes up a short way then stops and comes up with a message saying cannot connect to server or IP I have tried it without the firewall but cannot connect to any server using gamespy can anyone help.

did you happen to try any other servers...cuz if it updates the servers list then your internet connection is fine in the game so it should work...just try another server man

Yes, I have tried about 10 or 15 fifteen servers as you get in the battlefield internet multiplayer server screen perhaps they are all full or something, I thought a game like this would have chat rooms and its own dedicated server.
