I have been having so many god damn problems with Firefox I am going insane. I said fuck it and I am going back to IE. I was using Firefox Preview 1.0 and it just kept crashing on me and tons of other problems just kept pissing me off. Maybe when they update a bit more I will return to firefox but for now fuck it.

Problems such as? Can you specify? I don’t know, I have not had any problems with that build so far. But best of luck to you with IE though (you’re going to need it). ;)

The only problem I have with Firefox is that sometimes it locks up and makes my HD go crazy for like 20 seconds.

Try Mozilla, yes I know it's the same engine but I like Mozilla alot more than FireFox. I've never had a crash with Mo, some funny stuff on webpages though such as some javascripts but that's about it.

Basicly it crashes a lot. Then one time I refreshed the desktop and every browser window on the taskbar was gone. But later on they poped back up. The crashing is mainly pissing me off.

Firefox does the same thing to me, too. The way it manages bookmarks take some time to get used to, and it loads the pages faster, but freeze for 20 to 30 seconds every once a while, so in the end it is just as slow. Firefox's zooming text feature also gets way out of hands, and can ruin a webpage's layout in no time.

Opera seems to be alright, but it gives crazy banners asking you to buy the full version, and it looks too complicated, with tabs and icons and glossy looking stuff everywhere... I feel I was using Kazza lite rather than a web browser.

Safari is by far the best web browser I have used. Too bad they don't have it for PC... :(

Firefox is just mozilla made to look and function like opera (the search bar, toolbars and tabulated browsing are identical). So basically if you have problems with firefox I'd say try the real thing for a change. And I'm not sure what "crazy banners" you were talking about Yian, my version just has relevant google ads that are all text and unobtrusive. They can even be entertaining when you see how far off their engine can be sometimes :D

I have had none of those problems that were mentioned above.

only gripe i have with FF is that sometimes my download's freeze especially with warez...but only sometimes.
