Some images of a tank I've been working on. I'm basically finished with the modelling stage, except some minor protrusions.

I'd be greatful if someone could point me in the direction of texturing tutorials and how to handle meshes; I want to put some decals in cool places on it.

Opinions are welcome... and yeah, I got the initial idea from C&C: Generals.

Problem is it can't pivot up and down, well, the big guns can't. Also, the muzzels make it seem a little top heavy.

I might restart on a new one when I have time spare...

That looks like more of a land battleship than a tank.

Hmmmm... maybe I should make it bigger and add some sort of docking bay for ships... that'd be cool.

Personally, I like lightwave and the way it works. Model in one program and render in the other. I've grown used to it and found myself baffled when I tried a 3DSM trial the other week.

I think Lightwave takes adapting too, but it's very cool once you've got the hang of it.

that main turret would send the tank about 100 yards backwards mabey more when fired, if you could cut down the size a little, other than that awsome work :D
