Plus speed = shit

I have a at plus account.. the speeds are normally sub 150KBps.. and go as low as 70. I go to other sites, egames, yahoo and download the same file at 200+ speeds What's the deal guys?

I always get 350+. Hell, I test my connection at AT Plus to make sure I'm still getting full speeds. Don't know what's wrong with your thing.

Well, I've tried downloading from several different places (ie I went to my friends house) - and I always get poor speeds.

Why dont you call your connection provider ?

Because only at actiontrip do I get poor speeds.

That also depends on how much load is on AT server at that moment .
Does the speed increase or decrease or remains constant ?

Thanks for actually helping me and posting something useful..

They start out fast, but quickly (within a minute) go down to 125KBps or so. Happens during the day and at night.

For example, yesterday I downloaded a file from actiontrip.. was taking forever so I went to another server (yahoo hosts game downloads, believe it or not) and was getting 200+KBps speeds.

I also am not doing anything else with my connection, not sharing files, hosting torrents, playing games, etc. My network doesn't have anyone else on it and I keep it pretty tight by using mac address filtering and reviewing DHCP logs, etc..

Although it's possible there's an issue between me and atrip's servers, I've never had great speeds with atrip. This isn't something recent, I'm just tired of dealing with it.
