Why would you do that? Xbox kicks the PS2's ass.

The only thing a PS2 is good for is wiping your ass. Nevermind, its not even good for that. You my friend are an idiot.
And for future reference, this topic would normally go in the console section.

Save GTA: San Andreas, the PS2 is a toilet. I want that friggin game so bad but I dont want to buy that stupid system just for one game. Then again, waiting till next summer for the PC or Xbox version is going to be rough.

Phish, PS2 pwns both you nubs. Even though it's lacking in hardware compared to the Xbox and GB you have to realize how much earlier it was released.

My weekend went great. Jerked off, played cs with bxx, jerked off after that. Found out that bxx lives 5 minutes away from me.

Sales records and hardware specs are 2 completely different things. The Xbox kicks PS2's ass. Simple, not even a person as yourself can deny that.

My weekend was totally awesome, I got to slam my head into a desk really hard for an hour while trying to fix a networking issue with my friend's computer. Great fun, and burns calories too!

PS2 is much better than XBox. XBox is a shitty PC in a stupid case. with only a selct few exclusive games that are not crap.

When I read that I saw:

That pretty much sums it up topsecret, consoles are dumbed down computers for people who don't have the knowledge or passion about hardcore games to be able to play them. The games on consoles almost feel like someones holding your hand while you play it, they are so damn easy.

Don't worry, this should be the easiest it's ever been (I've waited for the last two GTA games to come out for PC).

Lan parties with PCs are a pain in the ass compared to my friends' and my Halo lans.
I fucking hate when people say "Oh shit, consoles suck because my PC has better games!!!34#". It's not about whether the game is better or not, it's not about whether the graphics are better or not. It's about fun and simplicity.

Setting up a PC lan is as hard as you make it.
You want simplicity, go play checkers.

PC lan partys are a pain in the ass. Hooking up and playing 4 xbox's is easy as pie. Last halo lan party I went to we had two projectors, it was awesome.

PC Lans do indeed suck, I've had way more fun playing Halo with 4 XBOXs than anything on computers.

LAN parties are great if you go to an established facility where its set up and you merely sign up to play.

WTF are you guys all smoking?
Just this weekend: Hooked up with about 5-6 friends in a garage. We had trouble for a while (Because the dumb fuck wouldn't let me restart the router, if I had, we would have been gaming in 5-10 minutes, tops)
Played UT2K4, and a few other people played WC3.
I think you guys are letting a bad experience or two kill it. Every time we do it, it goes a little bit quicker.
Had one a few months ago in my friends garage, 13 computers. No problems, at all.

I go to an organized LAN just about everymonth. We just tap into this huge network over at a computer learning center and bam! We can start playing/sharing *Cough cough* right away.

Not the summary of what I was discussing. I was merely pointing out that PC Lan's are not a pain in the ass. Yes, they require a bit of brain power, and it's not just "Plug cable A into slot A, plug cable B into slot B." But it isn't hard either.

But it isn't hard either. true, but unless you have a permanent set-up of a lan area you have to:
1. move everything else out of the way
2. get the computers there
3. connect everything
4. hope nothing has fucked up between 1 and 4.
If everything goes fine it doesn't take that long and overall is better but for just a casual game consoles are better.

The advantages of a PC LAN are slightly different. For instance we can game on different levels of the house you're in, we can swap games, files, movies, cracks, etc. And all it takes is a network cable plugged into the main switch/hub and offcourse the same IP config.

I love pc lans. Even if you aren't all playing an organized game at the time it's still great fun just to be able to be yourself and do whatever you want.

My weekend was fine thank you, I was on a cruise boat with friends getting drunk, and on location we went to a strip club, then we went back home again with the boat. A good 39-hour cruise baby!
