why not be a PI who doubles as a bartender? all the skils of a journalist, some cop crap, and a bar to work for tips.

if you go the bartender way, remember 1 thing. dont take a shot with everyone else who wants a shot..things dont work out usualy

I'm a journalist (well, sort of). Everyone treats you like shit and thinks that they could do a much better job than you. It fucking sucks.

Do you actually know what is entail in each job. I am not trying to be a dick here. I am just saying make an informed choice. Also remember you can change your degree at anytime, so it is not like it is written in stone.

Also remember, your first year is really all about drinking and getting layed.

hehe, anyway, I think you should also look for a job that will be able to support you AND a family in the future, and I don't think bartending can do that. So I'd say go with either a cop or a journalist. Journalist can make a lot more moey than cops though

If they dont suck...Anyway, I would not advise going into bartending. As someone else stated earlier, I dont know you that well, but If you want to shoot people legally I would go w/the cop job.
