Anyone try this yet? I've been listening to Opie & Anthony all morning and they cant shut up about how cool it is. You can take out JFK and pop a few rounds into Jackie O for shits and giggles too. Take out the limo driver just to prove a point.....goddamn I want this.

It says that the purpose of the game is to "educate", but when people ask them why there aren't any crowd in the plaza in the game, they say it was due to the fact that most people's computer probably can't handle too many polygons on the screen.

And I think that where the developwr contradict itself. If the purpose of the game is to educate, and they were willing to go as far as letting you have the gun and shoot the virtual JFK, then the computer specification of the avarage user shouldn;t even bother them a bit. You want historical accuracy? Put in the crowd! If someone's computer can't handle it, too bad they missed this golden opportunity to re-live this historical event. Why use accuracy as an argument when you are allowed to shoot the virtual president, but abandon it altogether when they realize that this game might not be able to reach as many people as possible?

Oh, and btw, Trustkill, I think this game is only available as internet download, not from retail. You are allowed to download and try the game, as it says on their website, but if you want the full game you need to pay $9.99 to unlock it. You must unlock the game to get to control Osward and shoot the big guy yourself.

They game have been released for less than a week. Give your... other sources... some time to "work out the glitches", I suggest. :p

But seriously, just pay $9.99. Even though I disagree with the concept, I think I would still pay if I want to play the full version.

well, the gameplay seems VERY limited and I dont think I'd play it more than 10 miniutes after DLing it. Even though it's only $10, it's the principle. Plus, $10 will buy me a drink and a shot tonight.

Aside from being sick and pathetic, what sort of additional challenge could this "game" provide? I mean, if you miss the mark, does the limo circle around Dealey Plaza again and give you another chance? (It would in a JoWood game...) Do you have an epic shoot-out with a Dallas cop a bit later in a movie theatre? (There's a "health-pack" and "armor" in the third row from the back, and extra ammo behind the concession stand.) Can you use The Force to "persuade" the police not to march you out of the jail where Jack Ruby is waiting with his .32 revolver? "I've changed my mind, Burt; we'll be taking Oswald out the back way, instead." Please...

I saw this game on the news the other day (that's heaps cool, because they never show anything game related on Australian news!!), and it looked pretty crappy to me...Might give it a try a bit later on today.

its a bit of fun.
takeing out the driver so they crash into the wall and evryone going flying is slightly amusing. i wouldn't pay $10 for it.
