Well, I wanna here some of the weird and unusual last names we have on the forums, have at it.
My last name is Kirst. Its german. Not positive as to the pronucation. I always just say it like you would first with a k.

Good luck. It's originally from an alphabet rather larger than the English one, so it isn't pronounced how it's spelled - or, for that matter, even spelled how it's pronounced. There are two or three different spellings of it in my father's family, and my paternal grandfather has a completly different last name - and yes, he is a blood grandfather, not step.
