descent cheats

I have the cheats from this site 4 descent. But I cannot get them to work.
I typed gabbagabbahey at the command promt. And after starting the game I went into the map and entered alt+f and nothing happened.
Could someone please explain to me how to get them to work.
I play it to pass time sometimes by myself. But I can never get passed level 6.

good luck finding them here........people usualy get flamed for asking for cheats......you might get some help though......introduce yourself...get to know some people.....then you might have a bit better luck

It's been a few years since I was in the cockpit of a Pyro(?), but I think you're supposed to type 'gabbagabbahey' while IN THE GAME. The alt+f sequence isn't ringing any bells with me. And is it level 6 or 7 you're stuck at? Is it the big, freaky purple bot that disappears and teleports? Nearly everybody had issues with that actor. If that's the level, the developer actually made that level a tad easier on a later patch because everybody was bitching. Descent topped out at V1.4 or V1.5, if I'm remembering correctly. By the way, you get ZERO points for a kill after you enable cheats... Good Hunting!
