Has anyone ever heard of these, cause I downloaded a movie file and tried Media Player, Real player and Quicktime and none of those can play it, is there a specific player for these files or should I try DivX? (which is the only other standardised player I know of)

Use the VLC media player. That player palys almost every fucking format under the sun

You could also try Windows Media Player Classic. That runs nearly every god damn thing I've ever seen, and it's simple as fuck to use. Just drop the .exe file wherever the hell you want, then select "Open with..." after right-clicking the movie file, and go track down the .exe. I've yet to have a problem with it.

Google for the OGG Vorbis codec. OGM files are OGG Vorbis encoded. VERY good codec I might add. I had the whole Cowboy Bebop serie on OGM, Excellent quality, dual language (Jap & US) and subtitles with 1 episode being only 200 MB.

Here's a site that has good codec packs:

Thanks Chimera, Vorbis.com has some good stuff, I know that the audio tracks in UT2004 are ogg's. The particular movie file took a long time to download so not being able to watch it was irritating.

Man that VLC Player is brilliant, can't believe I never found it before.
