Ive been having an fps problem lately and looking for help on how to fix it. I have a Radeon 9000 and now matter what i seem to do i always get choppy fps from 50-100. It usally stays around 99 when in smaller areas or around no actions but as soon as the map gets to a larger part or ppl pop up it drops to 50-70 fps. This occurs no matter what settings i use .. vsync on/off all types of filtering on or off it runs the same way. Any have any suggestions that might make it more stable or even make it so it stays 100 constant i would appreciate it thnx

I don't care if you have a good video card, but if you think 50-100 FPS is bad. Then you are an asshole and should be shot. I am happy with 30-60 FPS.....

CS... emmm.... you do get more chance to do the headshots if you have some more framrates, but 70 fps is very good! Even 50 should be more than enough for most of the gamers... 100 or more will probablt start to hurt my eyes... and Radeon 9000 isn't a very good card too boost framerates anyway... so you're fine.

See if you have the newest driver... I bet you do because most people should have try that first before they ask anything else, so sorry, sounds stupid, you might think...

dungeon siege isn't an FPS (more FPS's are needed for the fast twitch gameplay of FPS's :)). and it's a radeon 9000.....comparable to a geforce 4 MX. i think that's about all the FPS's you're gonna get.

yep... want to go above 120, you need to get some heavy duty stuff like mine... 3D Prophet 9700 Pro, an overclocked Radeon 9700 Pro!

I think a 9000 has pixel shaders and vertex shaders. But a GeForce 4 MX does not, its pretty much just a GeForce 2 Ultra. It wouldn't make sense if the raeon 9000 didn't have pixel shaders since the 8500 does.

that's why the radeon 8500 is now called the radeon 9100 :)

I think you should kick yourself in the balls for playing counter strike.

I think future man's balls are always kicked in CS that's why he hates CS...
