I've probably spent more time online than I have in the campaign, although as Americanized as it is I don't entirely hate it. The abundance of positive reinforcement is weird, I agree with that. Codemasters has said that the next game in the series will be more similar to previous games thematically.

So...Future, TopSecret and myself were playing Left 4 Dead 2 on advanced with realism mode turned on. After about an hour and a half of playing we got to the finale of The Parish and were pretty much guaranteed to finish. TSB was in the chopper, future wasn't far behind him, and I wasn't far behind future.

...and then the server we were playing on dies and we all get booted back to the party lobby.

Using some of my 7-Hour trial time to check out single player. I really like its structure so far, and it doesn't hurt that the in-engine cutscenes are easy are the eyes.

Got really bored and downloaded the latest UDK release to check out the showcase/example content.

Too bad Epic didn't have Scaleform stuff in UE3 from the beginning. The interface in this mini-UT3 example is way more attractive than what's in the actual game.
