Yeah I use Cosmos most of the time. And yes, it does have problems, like everytime they update WoW Cosmos takes a crap. A couple hours before those screens were taken it was acting weird on me, so I had to re-install it. Worked fine after that. It takes some time to learn/deal with, but it's worth it.

Worms doesn't count as a sidescrolling shooter. It's basically a strategy game that takes place on a 2D plane. A shooter, in my opinion, is a game where you control a sole character that acts in real-time. Worms is turn-based, uses mutliple worms, and much of it doesn't involve directly shooting your opponent.

Though, I take back what I said since I love games (when played on consoles) like Metal Slug and Mega Man. I guess the games I dislike are games named Soldat and this other similar shooter that involved multiplayer shooting in 2D. I think it was something with stick figures. Never the less, I hated it as much as I hate this game.

Meh, I think Worms Armageddon is the best. You can't beat the huge selection of weapons, map maker, and on-line multiplayer. It's all good.

Saitek P880. The shoulder buttons (triggers) are retardedly huge and feel "cheap" compared to the other things on the controller, but other than that the controller is really good. The six face buttons feel good when pressed, the analog sticks work great and have buttons in them (push down, like the PS2 controller), and there's a nice comfy rubber grip. The programming software is also pretty good.

If I were you, I would put it to 4xAA, or something similar, and turn up your resolution or other in-game options.

Use 960 unless you have an LCD that has a native resolution at 1280x1024.

Uh, it doesn't go past 16xAF or 8xAA, at all. In any game. (As far as I know.)

And why would you want to? I don't think anyone could tell the difference between 32xAF/12xAA vs. 16xAF/8xAA. Unless you're looking at the frame rate. :p

I know that Brothers in Arms game is getting GREAT reviews, for gameplay, sound, and somewhat for graphics.

But seriously, getting these low quality textures from these console ports is getting fucking ridiculous. Riddick is a fine example that this not need be the way. I think it's great if they do a good job porting over the gameplay mechanics and etc etc.

But seriously, is it really that hard to create 1024x1024 textures, and then scale them DOWN for the Xbox? And not just stick us with those god aweful 256x256 (Or whatever they are) res textures? I know that it isn't the easiest thing to do, create high quality textures, but god damn. You'd think on these triple A titles, they could hire a few texture guys to create some spiffy textures. I'm not asking for normal maps, or specular, etc etc. Just some decent res textures. That's all I want.

BiA is very good. Manuvering gets annoying in the beginning (you'll see what I mean), but picks up after a few levels, thats when it gets very interesting. Only problems that I've seen are from your ai teammates. 1.(This happens every so often) there isn't always enough cover to have all of the firing squad attack since they sometimes leave big gaps between each other, so the ones that aren't firing scream out 'no can do,' blah, blah, blah. 2. Never make commands pointing on the second story of a house they might head to the bottom floor or somewhere else. 3. Tell them to rush a enemy and they might take a different route...though another bunch of enemies and if your lucky as I am, they rush though an enemy mg's Field of Vision.

One more thing, if/when you play, on the first few levels don't waste your ammo. Meaning, don't fire unless your in somewhat of a close range. Just tell your teammates to supress and rush since they have infinite ammo.

The GFX are excellent and after I properly enabled AA it was enjoyable at 1600x1200 (not once did I experience a slowdown) so performance is adequate. The game does have some nice visuals. It looks a lot better than what it did. I must admit though while pretty entertaining its one of the weirdest racing games I have ever played. I can’t put my finger on it but it’s just very strange. It’s pretty enjoyable though.

Get the demo its pretty fun online. Yes the controls do feel like a toy car but like you said it is an arcade racer. I bet if you had a wheel controller it would be perfect. The speed is also pretty great. Actually if you have ever played one of those UT2004 derby custom levels its just like that. Except really really fast cars.

You can customize your interface, which is a really cool idea its just that once you use the normal setup everything else looks meh. So I just stayed with the original setup.

Of course its not as massive as WoW. That is not a bad thing really. When you go out into the world its exclusive to you and your party members. When you go into town then everyone pops up. The best part is it has no monthly charge. I love the game so much I wouldnt mind paying a monthly charge for it though (even though I wouldn't have the money).

Played the game for about 6 hours last night and it got me to level 5, some new armor and a tasty sword and sheild. I am a Necro/Warrior.

This is basically taking away all the PvP interaction, stripping the game to the ground basics of slashing as many creeps as needed to lvl up and than proceed to slash some more. There already have big PK events. They are called PvP missions. When you create a character you can choose between a PvE or PvP and when you create a PvP character you auto start at level 20 which is the highest level. You enter the PvP missions with a party and fight against another party. They have many different types of gameplay for PvP. Such as a type of CTF (but its not a flag). A attack and defend the base type mission pretty much assault. There are a few others that I cant tell you right off the bat, but its the best way you could do PvP IMO.

Project Snowblind. The textures and models are horrible, but there are some really nice Depth of Field, Motion Blur, and Bloom effects. The game is also pretty fun and action packed.

Nah, the "liquid" effect doesn't stay on the screen long enough to get annoying. Besides, there has to be some kind of disadvantage to being totally impervious to bullets (other than your bio-energy draining).

Like I said, the models and the textures are horrible. And, as you've already noticed, this game also has some of the worst character and weapon designs ever. But, the game is entertaining and there's plenty of explosions.
