My steam is also fucking with me. Not like that but most of the time when I first start it up after I have restarted my PC or something it freezes. I get some bull shit error and have to end task it. Steam is pissing me off. For the moment I am leaving it alone.

I have no problems with Steam. Last night when I signed in to play CS:S the news said that they were updating the system and implementing a new Anti-Cheat system. Guys maybe that has something to do with your error.. either the shit is not completely implemented yet or you guys have haX.. they did warn you to disable any haX you may have after last night.

Don't be dissing teh steam, it pwnz. I couldn't imagine life without it. I'm gonna upgrade my cpu just so steam can use more of it on startup, a great gift worthy of a great program.

I haven't had a single problem with Steam so far besides my comp slowing down a bit when I load it up and after I come out of a game. Oh, and that I can't play CS 1.6 anymore since some little bastard stole my cd key.

I like the concept of Steam, but I never liked the execution of the plan. Valve can obviously do a better job than this.
