Nope, still there. Although I think they've claimed he died like three times now. They really need to learn how to tell if somebody's dead or not, it doesn't seem that complicated.

Here is what CNN is saying:

Pope John Paul II's condition remains unchanged and "very grave," and he is showing the first signs of losing consciousness, the Vatican says. However, a spokesman said the pope is technically not in a coma and opens his eyes when spoken to.

I still think he will die sometimes Sunday

Personally I think he's already dead but they haven't announced it yet. I think they will make the announcment, (or he will die and then they will announce it) on Sunday morning.

I've gotta say.. I'm a Christian and I don't care that the pope died. I don't have much regard for Catholocism, even less for the leaders of it. I find their symbolism and traditions, often their teachings, to be very very dodgy. Meh.

Ok, so he did a lot of good things while he was capable of it, can't ignore that really, but he couldn't do much recently anyway.

And thats the side I don't like about priests. Their devotion to their faith is great but in doing so they deny themselves and go mad, funny that they sometimes end up doing nastier things than the people that listen to them at church.
