steam/valve isnt helping us at all they said it wasnt there game even though they have their name on the box..

Okay dude, Gunman Chronicles had potential, and lots of it, but in the end it just never made it across the finish line...it's sucked, the story was a wreck, the half life interface got ass raped and it was boring and repetitive.

I loved Gunman. Not nearly as much as HL, but it was still great to me. I played a little multi and it was ok. I have to say let it rest though. It was in the past and it was good for the time. I dont see the need for another one though.

I'm sorry that I have to agree with the others. Gunman Chronicle is a bad game. If you love it so much, one can only assume that you must not have the machine decent enough to run anything else, or you are just ignorant with all other great titles out there. I'm glad you find something you like, though.

on the other hand - I still love tetris and I'm playing it on my top of the range pc, even with all the other high end games around. I'm sure not everyone likes it, but to me it's still as much fun as the first time that I've played it...

That game came out before my PC gaming time. I started out with Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. That's when I got really serious about PC games.

well gunman was my first game.. just one day i poped in the cd and said mayb i should try out multiplayer... guess i was lucky that the game worked lol

Gunman is one of my favorite games EVER. It's up there with Deus Ex as far as story and emersion. I don't see why people foam at the mouth and turn red when you mention gunman, so many people take it so personaly when you say you loved that game. They get really really pissed and write your name down on their hitlist. That game had so many unique locations, interesting weapons, TONS of different enemies and a few twists to the story. And who the hell doesn't love cowboys in space? The voice acting was top notch too. It wasn't meant to be a replacment for half-life, it's just another game which actualy started developement in QUAKE 1.

ppl were shocked when gc went down even i was bcuss i was... when i got home from school i said lemme play gc then won wouldnt authenticate and im like hmmm mayb i have a bad connection then i tried reconnecting to the internet then i tried it agian still didnt work...
then i told myself wtf how can this be i was just on this morning..
i guess you better watch it bcuss your game can go out just like this popular game did.. i owned three coppies of the game
i would play on steam as a third party but i lag alot more when i enter a server than i did with won.
with won i would pull a 130 or somthing in some1s server that lived in texas. but on steam i would pull a 1000 or 4048.
won was a good master server i dont know why they decided to get rid of it.
i only hope that someone comes along and hosts a master server for that game.
