Most of it is only open to people in the industry, the press gets a different treatment from everyone else.

It's not an entertainment show, it's a trade show, and like all trade shows, they aren't open to members of the general public. If you can find your way into the industry, then you can go though.

I know could always ask the admin of www.tbreak.com to get me a pass(he's been to E3 and since i'm a mod he should help me ;)), or I could talk to the distributors of EA, Take Two, Lucas Arts, Eidos(Since I worked for them for a few months :D). But first I gotta get to the US :p
