Help! with FAR CRY - Can't complete a level

Has any one got any tips on how to down the helicopter on the 'boat' level as it's sinking? No matter how many times I hit the damn thing with rockets an everything else I've got, it just won't go down :confused:

try spitballs. it may not kill it, but it will anoy the hell out of the pilot.

In any case here’s the strategy I used. First of all do not leave the ships main cabin for as long as possible. It’s the best cover there is. Try to aim accurately and make sure to evade the attacks of the helicopter itself but overall just plain put enough rockets into it and you will reach the result required.

You just gotta keep plugging away at it. I think once it's hit around 10 times...it goes away.

i don't know if you've gotten past there yet but i read somewhere that if you put a hummer by the tree on the shoreline closest to the stern you can use the gatling gun on it , i've used it , it will work i've played thru the game several times, i still get my butt handed to me on certain levels the AI in this game is great.

FarCry is an amazing game. Unfortunatley I re-formatted and can't find my DVD. When I stopped playing I was almost complete the research facility. Those little bastards freak me out.
