I grabbed the demo and played it.... everyone know that this game is pointless so the only reason we would buy this game is obviously for the gore and violence, so I will just focus on what I see on the violence in the demo:

Very disappointed!!!

You won't believe how fast I grew tired of this thing... I felt no satisfaction at all when I kill someone in the game because there just isn't enough blood. The animations are bad, too. The full version promised to give more maps, but so? I don't see anyfun in having more maps to repeat doing what has bored me already...

...and the lime limit in the demo is quite annoying.

You can get rid of the timelimit. Got this from a guy from Shacknews... (no not Steve or Maarten or Jason)

1. Open console with tilde
2. type: SET GAMESTATE DEMOTIME 9999

And you get like 160 minutes of boredom.

Well I enjoy killing people in whatever way I felt like and then trashin their home etc... people seem to expect Half-Life or something.... this is not that kind of game.

Every game is pointless, I havent seen a game that would've changed someone's life or something, well they sure didnt change mine.

My loadings were like 10 secs and my sys isnt teh bleedin edge.

Although the quality isnt there and this game does belong in the budget level... 20~25$

I know... but I was talkig about the violence in the game.... it wasn't violent enough!!! They should have focus on the grpahics, the visual effects of killing people... No enough blood, no enough guts, no enough frags, not enough destructable objects....

So just create a mod for SOF2 that's just that! You kill civilians in a small town. It'll probably be more interesting too.

Yeah, definately more blood, I mean if you already go with blood and M rating then go for teh max level.... oh I also found annoying that some people can take a clip right in the face and still fucking stand there shooting at me!

I was never very excited about this game, i thought it was going to be crap from the start. Acording to the majority of the reviews, it is pretty bad. I'm not even going to download the demo, its not worth my time (and i really mean that, i'm on 56K). SOF2 is a much better game IMO, and it has all the virual violence i need.

I was actually kind of disappointed by SOF II's violence, too... they should have somehow get rag-dool physics into the game. But I find myself dealing with the AI more than playing with the bodies... That was one of the most intense shooter I ever played.

What's really sad is that Running With Scissors (I fucking hate that prick Vince Desi) is gonna pretty much ridcule all the reviews and such saying they're all full of lies and bullshit.

SOF2 was made before all the rag-doll hype. I also think it started development before rag-doll physics were invented (i'm sure i'm wrong about that). I'm sure if it was made recently it would include rag-doll bodies. But even though its really cool to see the person you just owned fall to the ground in a realistic manner, rag-doll physics is far from perfect. It can cause some pretty wierd looking final posistions.

The Original Hitman has ragdoll effects. You're very, very wrong.

In an added note, I might be moving to Tucson in a year which is where RAY16 is from. God help us.

Well, i did say that i'm sure i was wrong about that. But i think i was right about Rag-Doll physics not being all the rage back then.

And i'm not "from" tucson, i just live in this dump. I was born in santa fe' new mexico, thats where i'm "from".

GameSpot just reviewed the game and it gave it a 4.2.... means "poor". It is kind of funny because in their preview gamesopt really thought the games was gonna be great...

I downloaded the demo while was sleeping last night, and i wish i didn't. This game is horrible, boring, and pointless. There are much better ways to implement extreme violence into games.
