Cheat codes for NWN?

Been trying to find somewhere I can ask my question. Not sure if anyone here would know, but thought I'd give it a shot.

Trying to get the dm_god or alternatively (well, preferably really) dm_cowsfromhell to work, and I type the code in, and all that, and it says "success" and nothing happens. No cows. No invulnerability. Has anyone else encountered this?
