Can some one help me please:confused:

I have just loaded Conflict Desert Storm onto PC but when I click run the screen goes blank then I get my normal desk top back and the game doesn't run.

I have windows XP and the right technical spec. I can run Medal of Honor with no problems, which has the same required spec, so don't really understand why I can't run this game.

Anyone help me???????

Can you post your specs? Also try getting the newest drivers for all your crap.

First of all, give Operation Flashpoint a shot. Believe me, you will forget this game completely once you played Flashpoint. It is so much better. Not to pick on your taste, just my personal suggestion... I would go as far as saying even Ghost Recon is better than this one...

here are some very general troubleshootings I can offer you right now since I don't have your detailed specs... people please do include everything as much as you could it really helps a lot.

1) XP needs its Service Pack 1 to run some games properly. I heard some people having trouble getting this game running with out Service Pack 1. Update your Windows XP see what it does.

2) XP is a 2000 based OS, and I think this game runs better with a 98 system. I know it sounds weird but a lot of people has problem with 2000 and xp with this game, but not that many with 98...

3) Again, grab all the latest drivers, the latest DirectX, the patch...

4) set up the game with 16 bit color. See, this game is more Direct3D based than OpenGL... Medal of Honor uses Quake 3 engine, and it uses OpenGL... Well, only if I know what video card you use then I can offer you more help.

Hope these suggestions work for you, somehow... come back with more specs if they didn't help...
