There use to be a Philipino (sp) woman (Penny) who lived down the street from my dads home - he had a private drive going back to his house....so this didn't affect him much. But, from his porch, it was easy to see the street and her house as there wasn't much else over on that end of the neighborhood except for some sagebrush filled lots. Anyway, on day after a regular payday for most business - like the 2nd and the 17th of each month, the traffic around that house was ridiculous.

My dad and I would sit there and just watch as cars circled the block waiting for one car to leave so another could pull up....someone would run up to the house....and then leave a few minutes later..and as soon as it was gone another car was there. My dad's house, wasn't on that block...but we could see 3 of the 4 roads that made up the block

This went on most of the summer....then the cops and some federal agents busted her for selling drugs...and shipped her ass back to her island. I think in order to only get deported and not jailed, she turned in the names of her suppliers...otherwise I don't know why they wouldn't have tossed her into jail. This is a very very small town and I and my dad thought she had to be about the stupidest person in the world to be selling drugs in that manner....hell she should have just put up a big sign stating she was selling them. My dad wasn't her closest neighbor...there were two other houses on the other side of the street from her....and then of course, a few more houses around the block and with all that traffic on those dirt roads, I'm sure someone got tired of it and turned her in...or the cops might have had a narc already out there doing undercover.
