Well, now that I've been painting my speaker system, upgrading all my shit to sexification, and reorganizing my desk space, I decided it might be a good idea to start a Show-Meh-j00r-Rig Thread. I'll probably be able to share my whole deal with everyone sometime by the end of this week, but until then everyone here should post what shit happens to be on your computer desk (or under/around it, you anal assholes), including their computer.

Sure, mainy this is to tide me over until I have everything setup, but that shouldn't stop anyone.

Here's my shit as is. I just painted my speakers and monitor black for kicks. The subwoofer (not shown) is also painted black. I did the speakers so they'd match the new LCD, and now I did the monitor because I figured I might use this CRT with the LCD for dual monitors. I'm not sure how to set it up, but I imagine I don't need to buy too much shit for it to work.

It's the 19" Hyundai L90D+ (8ms of w00t!), bought it off Newegg over the summer, its perfect for anyday use and great for gaming. The only downside is that the viewing angles arn't as good as some other LCDs, but that's a pretty small complaint. Great LCD for < $350.

Bitches. Btw the rig has been cleaned up. The tape to hold the front panel is more elite. I added an A64 3000+ and an MSI K8N Neo 2 motherboard that is gone in warranty. Will arrive by end of this week so will update this nigga picture. This setup kicked so much ass. I am still sad as to why I sold it. Fuck this shit.

My friend said I just need to plug my LCD into the analog port and use a DVI to Analog adapter to plug the CRT in, but I can't imagine it's just that simple. Any software I'd need? Any problems with running two monitors? What happens when you open up a game? Etc, etc, etc...

Actually those monitors are hooked up to seperate pc's, but yeah, your card should be dual head, plug-n-play ready w/ the right adapter. Make sure you have latest graphic drivers, and then check the setting's tab in display properties, there you can manipulate the physical location of both monitors, set the res, refresh rates, etc.

Yeah, it's the model that doesn't include a pad for combos or whatever that extra num-pad is for. It might also have some other defining features, but I mainly got it because it had better reviews on Newegg than the silver one - well, that and because this one is primarily black.

The kitty is called 'Jewel' - No, I didn't name it.

The extra pad has 9 keys that you can program to do pretty much anything. In game or out of game. It's basically a replacement to macro software.

Static is thoroughly overrated. Just touch your central heating before working on your rig and you're fine. It works for me.

I use a paintbrush to clean the corners and a cloth for everything else (ofcourse I turn off the computer altogether before doing anything).

I also use a blower at times about 3 feet far away to blow away the dust out of the case and shit.
