can u please post suggestions of components i need to make a decent office computer
doesnt need to play very big games- no bigger than deus ex, needs to run fast-on net and on microsoft office programs and acounting programs, and i need good fire wall aswell

What is your skill level? How much do you know about building a custom PC? We need as much info you could provide in order to make this easier.

i just starting, dont really know that much
i can assemble it though
and really only need suggestions for components
oh and my budget is $2500 au

2500k down here is decent, from the last time i was pricing.
go to your local components store (austin or ple if you're from perth, dunno about east) and ask them to spec you something within your budget, bring the ideas back here and im sure the nice boys and girls can use that as a starting to point to tear their suggestions apart and swamp you with so much (helpful) jargon your head will explode
